Morse M42 industrial bandsaws are manufactured with special high-speed steel tooth edges and a special alloy steel backer. Is designed to be a general-purpose blade metal cutting blade ideal for cutting materials with easy to moderate maintainability.  M42 is available in variable TPI to cut vibration which can significantly shorten the blade life and reduces the tooth stripping that occurs when cutting hard materials. Suitable for both the hobbyist and professional.

These industrial standard blades have a minimum gauge of 0.64 mm which increases to 1.10 mm as the width as the blade increases (unlike inferior quality blades using 0.36 mm), this result in a blade that consistently cuts straighter and for longer due to its hardened tooth tips.
